Ugly Love-Colleen Hoover
Ugly Love is ne of the newer released books from Collen Hoover and it was such a
great novel, so organic and it comes with so many feels.
You will cry, I swear!
For me it's not a big surprise that Colleen yet again manages to break my heart in
millions of little pieces. The first book I've ever read from her, Hopeless, probably the
best Romance/New Adult book I've read so far and nothing will ever compare to that,
but Ugly Love was surprisingly close. Hopeless still won in the end just because
without it I wouldn't have discovered this book or Colleen for that matter.
Ugly Love is about, as the title suggests it, the ugly side of love. Tate and Miles end up living across from each other and find themselves in a friends with benefits sort of relationship with two rules. Don't ask about the past and don't expect a future. Throught the book though feelings get mixed into this twisted frienship; "Love gets ugly".
I have came to the conclusion that Colleen Hoover is the one author from who I can pick up any book and I know I'll adore it. Her writing is just exceptional and captivating. And she organized the book so well, I couldn't see it coming to life any other way, you could tell when in-love-Miles started and when he ended and that is genius. It made me sob like the baby I am.
I don't think we should sit here and talk about the cover, because will be here for a really long time. I think it's beautiful and very relevant to the tragic event in Miles' life. It may seem like it dosn't match with the plot, but trust me it sort of does.
Miles is the ideal guy, if you want his baggage as well. I mean who doesn't want a mysterious guy who might cry during the book. Colleen Hoover also said that all the other male characters she created didn't make her cry what so ever, but when she was creating Miles she was definitly crying.
All in all, I whole-heartedly recommed this amazing book. If you like to cry and want to read a book about an organic "ugly" love than make sure to pick up Ugly Love next time you find yourself at the bookstore. Should I mention that I're going to have a major bookhangover after this book? Maybe not.
